Battlefield Acupuncture (BFA) is a ear acupuncture protocol wich is used for pain treatment.

5 semipermanent needles are set in each ear in spesific points/zones. The needles will last for some days and fall out by themself.

BFA was invented by Dr. Richard Niemtzow in 2001 and is used in the US military.
